CRASH delighted to return as charity partner at the CPA Autumn Lunch

Many of the construction industry’s best manufacturers and suppliers gathered for this incredible networking event, which raised over £6,000 in aid of CRASH.

Guests were welcomed by a drink’s reception, followed by a speech from Peter Caplehorn, Chief Executive at the Construction Products Association. Francesca Roberts, Chief Executive at CRASH spoke afterwards, she highlighted the vital work that CRASH does with homelessness charities and hospices, and the importance of creating places that care for people.

A live band performed as the three-course meal was served. Guests generously donated and raised an amazing £6,209.59 in aid of CRASH. These vital donations go towards creating more caring environments for some of the most vulnerable people in our society; CRASH would like to extend a huge thank you to the CPA and everyone who donated.

An incredible selection of charity draw prizes were available for guests who entered, including a Fortnum and Mason Hamper donated by the CPA, a well-sought after big Dulux dog soft toy donated by CRASH Corporate Patron, Dulux Decorator Centre, a case of six bottles of champagne – generously sponsored by Courtney Smith Group, and finally a two-night stay at a London Novotel, inclusive of champagne and afternoon tea kindly donated by London Novotel West. A BIG thank you to the final charity draw winner who called for a surprise auction, which resulted in the final prize being sold for an extra £600, with all proceeds going to our work with homelessness charities and hospices – CRASH is so delighted to have such generous supporters.
