Kilnbridge Named CRASH Corporate Patron of the Month for June
On Thursday 2nd July, VolkerFitzpatrick once again held their annual Paul Lane Memorial Golf Day at the world-renowned Belfry Golf Resort, in partnership with CRASH. This year, an amazing £19,000 was raised which will contribute greatly to our vital work with homelessness charities and hospices.
The 9th year of this Golf Day, held in memory of the late Paul Lane, former Head of Quality at VolkerFitzpatrick, continued to be a heartfelt tribute to a much-loved colleague. The event brings together supply chain partners for an unforgettable day of golf, remembrance, and generosity. CRASH has very gratefully been the charity beneficiary for this day from the very first year and it has raised an absolutely incredible £150,000 throughout the years. This money has and will continue to make an invaluable impact to those in need.
On the evening prior, attendees enjoyed a three-course dinner, followed by a raffle and charity auction packed with exceptional prizes donated by VolkerFitzpatrick’s generous supply chain.
Then on the Thursday morning, the day began with a welcome breakfast and briefing, followed by a minute’s silence in honour of Paul. Golfers then took to the course in teams of four, facing friendly competition and fun challenges – including the popular ‘Beat the Pro’, all while supporting CRASH’s vital work.
The event is a powerful testament to VolkerFitzpatrick’s enduring commitment to CRASH through fundraising, Corporate Patronage, active project involvement and volunteering. The funds raised will go directly towards creating and refurbishing safe, caring environments for people who are homeless and for children and adults receiving care in hospices.
CRASH extends heartfelt thanks to everyone at VolkerFitzpatrick and all who attended and supported this special day and we look forward to proudly continuing our partnership together.
