Celebrating the People, Pride and Passion of the Industry: Construction News Awards 2025

The Construction News Awards 2025 once again shone a spotlight on the incredible People, Pride and Passion driving the industry forward, recognising outstanding achievements across 23 categories at its iconic ceremony, and raising an incredible £8,281 for industry charity, CRASH.

On Thursday, 10th July, over 1000 guests from across the construction sector came together at the Grosvenor House Hotel for an unforgettable evening filled with celebration, entertainment and fine dining. The night began with a lively drink’s reception, setting the tone for the evening, followed by a warm welcome from Colin Marrs, Editor at Construction News.

Trisha Pickersgill, Chief Executive of CRASH, delivered an impactful address, shedding light on the increasing pressures faced by the homelessness and hospice sectors. She spoke passionately about CRASH’s unique role in the industry, bringing together construction expertise to transform buildings into places of comfort, safety and dignity for those who need them most.

Following a delicious three-course dinner, the charismatic Stephen Mangan took to the stage, bringing his signature wit and charm to the evening’s proceedings. He kept the audience entertained before revealing this year’s award winners, celebrating excellence across the sector. From recognising cutting-edge innovation and rising industry stars to celebrating standout projects that are shaping the future of construction, the awards highlighted the breadth of talent and dedication across the sector. CRASH extends its heartfelt congratulations to all those who were honoured on the night.

Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of guests, an incredible £8,281 was raised in support of CRASH’s mission. These donations will directly help people experiencing homelessness and children and adults receiving hospice care, ensuring they have access to well-designed, caring environments.

CRASH would also like to thank the incredible team of volunteers who made this fundraising possible. We’re so grateful to Ash, Anna, Elnaz, Ruth, Holly, Scott, Ivor, Fatima, Okiki, Ronnie, Erica, Ellie and Holly – many of which representing our fantastic Corporate Patrons Arcadis, BAM, Beale & Co and NG Bailey. Your time, energy and support made all the difference.

To everyone who attended, supported, and donated – thank you for making this year’s Construction News Awards an inspiring celebration of what makes this industry exceptional.

CN’s long-standing partnership with CRASH deepens year-by-year and we remain proud to stand side-by-side with the charity. Not only does it raise vital funds for construction projects with incredible societal value, it harnesses the skills and materials from the industry. CRASH plays a key role in helping construction sector give even more back than it does through its day-to-day work.
