8build’s annual Supply Chain Golf Day raises over £24,000 for CRASH!

On a very sunny 6^th August, the 8build Supply Chain Golf Day once again took place in support of CRASH at Stock Brook Manor in Essex. The day brought together partners and colleagues for a fantastic day of golf, networking, and generosity.

The day started with registration, selling of raffle tickets and purchasing of the all important ‘Mulligans’ for any missed shots. The teams then teed off for 18 holes of friendly competition. Throughout the day, golfers took part in the popular ‘Beat the Pro’, with 10 players playing a winning shot.

After the main event, guests enjoyed a BBQ and networking in the sunshine. Then a charity raffle, live auction and silent auction helped boost the fundraising total. Standout prizes included a box at the Royal Albert Hall, a variety of packages for football matches, a breakfast for members only at The Ned Hotel, a Barbados getaway and an exclusive Dulux stuffed toy – among many other fantastic donations.

All the generously throughout the day contributed by 8build’s valued supply chain raised over £24,000 in aid of CRASH.

Now a firm fixture in the calendar, the event builds on the success of previous years and reflects the ongoing commitment of 8build and their network to giving back. The funds raised will go directly towards constructing and refurbishing life-changing spaces for people who are homeless and those receiving hospice care.
